We are an all-volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization. Coastside Mountain Bikers was started in 2016 and focused solely on issues surrounding mountain biking access and advocacy on the Coastside. In 2020, Coastside on Bikes was started and the two organizations began working together closely on various projects in the community. In January 2023, the two groups merged under the name "Coastside on Bikes" and updated our mission to function as a regional bike advocacy organization in addition to continuing our existing work in the community.
